As the world is in the midst of scenes that could well be thrown out of thriller narratives, and people are confined to their homes, the creators of Scopophilia, the first European computer screen film, have decided to make a practical contribution and release the film on the internet, in order to offer a “cinematic quarantine” experience!
Scopophilia belongs to a new genre of cinema that began to emerge in recent years, the “computer screen movie”. It is based on the voyeuristic gaze of the internet and its story unfolds on computer screens. The story of the film is about Alexis, a student who is quarantined at home because of health problems. Watching unidentified webcams, Alexis witnesses a murder by mistake and enters the evil web of a serial killer. Will he be able to expose the killer or will he catch himself in his trap?
As the film’s narrative is based on the concept of quarantine and self-restraint, and by realizing the importance of public health measures at this time, the creators of Scopophilia release the film online, so everyone can experience a cinematic experience from their home these days when the arts and entertainment aren’t easily accessible to the public
Scopophilia premiered at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, where it also received the Special Youth Jury Award and then traveled to film festivals all over the world. The film has also won the Maryland International Film Festival’s Best Foreign Language Film Award.
HEIDI VS. THE STATE: Screenwriter gets justice! A groundbreaking verdict of the administrative court against the police! MAD HEIDI co-scriptwriter gets justice from the court.
From the press release: “Evil forces got in our way in the spring of 2019 when one of the screenwriters of the Swissploitation film project MAD HEIDI received a dismissal without notice from the Cantonal Police of Zurich. It was only thanks to a mighty army of Heidi supporters that enough donations were collected to support our co-writer in his legal battle.
In March 2019, the 35-year-old man who worked for the Zurich Airport Police was fired without notice after 13 years of commendable service, because in his leisure time, he worked as a co-scriptwriter on the “Swissploitation” film project MAD HEIDI – an action-adventure horror-comedy. This was reported in the media (e.g. thelocal.ch).
What seemed scandalous at the time has now been confirmed by the Administrative Court of the Canton of Zurich in a groundbreaking ruling that is devastating for the cantonal police authorities.
The judges ruled that the dismissal was “blatantly abusive”. And they went on to say: “The dismissal is not even remotely comprehensible, and the material defectiveness alone is so serious that simply stating that the dismissal was unlawful and awarding compensation is not enough to remedy this injustice.”
The dismissal was declared invalid. Sweet words in our ears! In fact, the whole verdict is a fine example of grandiose legal lingo. If you understand German, do not miss out on reading the full verdict here.
This judgment is not yet legally binding and in theory, the canton could now take the matter to the Federal Supreme Court. Whatever the outcome of the case, this ruling by the Administrative Court is groundbreaking and historic in terms of artistic freedom!
However, without the financial support of over 130 MAD HEIDI fans who helped to cover the legal costs of over 10,000 Swiss Francs through crowdfunding, justice would never have been served. In fact, after his dismissal without notice, our man initially did not even receive unemployment insurance for three months. This means that only those who have the appropriate financial means can get justice.
All the more we would like to thank all the courageous supporters. The verdict is a victory for artistic freedom and a victory for justice!”

The script was written by Robert Bieber with Drain as the creator.
Aft the death of his father, Robby Duray’s (Drain) faith is put to the test when he is seduced into the corrupt world of organized crime, extortion and violence; masked in the form of an underground cult threatening to take over the world.

Small Town Monsters Examines Extraterrestrial Contact in New Miniseries“On the Trail of UFOs” to Release March 20thSeries Set to Explore America’s Complicated Relationship with UFOsFinal Trailer Drops Ahead of Release
Small Town Monsters has announced the March 20th Blu-ray/DVD, Amazon and Vimeo release of their new miniseries “On the Trail of UFOs”. The final trailer for the series gives viewers a glimpse into the astonishing numbers of locations and mind-bending interviews documented. The latest production from Small Town Media founder and director Seth Breedlove, “On the Trail of UFOs” takes an in-depth look at the current state of unidentified flying objects, and America’s continuously-evolving relationship with the subject. With unidentified flying objects being written and talked about in major news outlets and behind closed doors in Washington D.C., Breedlove and series host Shannon Legro set out to document what is by far the most tumultuous point in the history of “flying saucers”.
The series objective was to follow investigator Shannon LeGro as she scours the United States in search of clues to the origins of the unidentified flying objects. LeGro and crew filmed in fourteen different states across America in an effort to meet and speak with witnesses, investigators, skeptics and even folklorists while documenting their findings. Episodes focus on all aspects of the mystery; from purported alien abductions to the recent “Storm Area 51” event that grabbed international headlines. Nearly thirty interviews were conducted with people who have claimed to either see a UFO (in some cases on multiple occasions) or who go in search of them.
