Have You Seen the Red Machete?

Have You Seen the Red Machete?

I love the idea that franchises are set on world building now and have all these ancillary materials that flesh out stories otherwise unseen. I am still an unapologetic fan of The Walking Dead and while it appears that most other sites have all but discounted the series, based on its dramatic core alone, I think it is still some of the best character driven horror around. So, THIS makes me quite curious…

“Set in the world of The Walking Dead, the digital series Red Machete follows the path of the infamous weapon as it falls into the hands of survivors, good and evil, familiar and new.”

Aliens!!! Lone Gunmen!!! Scully Kicking Ass!!! Season 11 X-Files Trailer is HERE!!!

Ok. I am admittedly an unapologetic lover of the tenth season of the X-Files. So, dim the lights, grab your nearest red-headed federal agent… Continue Reading

‘The Prisoner’ 50th Anniversary Print by Chris Weston

If there was ever a show ahead of its time it was The Prisoner. Neil Gaiman Secretly Signs Copies of “American Gods” at JFK Bookstore

Neil Gaiman Secretly Signs Copies of “American Gods” at JFK Bookstore

I personally think that American Gods is some of the best tv that we mortals are currently allowed to watch. Great performances from a fantastic cast mixed with the weirdness that we have come to expect from the likes of Gaiman makes it truly a gem in the still reality tv saturated marketplace. I have… Continue Reading

Still Looking for Something to Watch in August?

With August not even half over yet, it can often be painfully hot and well, when that happens, you need some incentive besides the sweat, mosquito bites and the impending malaria to crank up that AC, brave the power bill and stay inside.
